Learn The Truth About Smart Goal

If I had 8 hours to chop down a tree, I would spend 6 hours sharpening my axe.

Goal is a dream with deadline and the difference between dream and goal is action. Having a definite goal is very important in your life. Setting a goal is like setting an immediate or long term destination on your SUCCESS journey. A definite goal gives your life purpose, direction, and meaning. They shape your life choices, help you build toward the future, and give you a sense of control and hope. Goal setting improves our everyday action and decision making. Without definite goal, we tend to become scattered in our thoughts and less important actions. Setting a definite goal gives you vision and motivation. People with definite goal in life can see what they eventually want to achieve and they can see how to get there. If you are not working on where you want to be, you are automatically working on where you don’t want to be.

A goal could be long term or short term, a short term goal is achieved quickly and they help you to achieve your long term goal. Long term goals take months, years or all your life.
